This adapter is precision CNC machined from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum and anodized race black for corrosion protection and aesthetics. Included in each kit is the aluminum threaded adapter, all necessary Viton O-rings, One Filter Adapter Refit Head for Cat/catepillar 1R-0750 Fuel Filter, stainless steel fuel filter nipple, billet aluminum spacer plate with hardware (bolts), one billet aluminum fuel filter head bleeder screw, and a complete fuel filter base/hand primer seal rebuild kit. The kit installs in about 30 minutes and can be performed by anyone with basic tools. It is recommended that you remove the spring and check ball from the stock filter head at time of installation in order to improve fuel flow! Over time the seals will wear out and disintegrate causing leaks in the primer. This kit includes everything that you need to rebuild the primer like new in minutes. Also includes an aluminum air bleeder screw to replace the stock plastic bleeder screw that commonly breaks. All O-rings are Viton and Nitrile. It is highly recommended to replace these seals at the time that you are installing your brand new CAT Adapter and Filter
